Hickory saplings are known for their sturdy nature and Old Hickory has used only the finest hickory saplings since their humble beginnings. Incorporated in 1898, Old Hickory had a full line of products and began shipping all across the country. The original furniture still resides at the Old Faithful Inn at the Yellowstone National Park. This is proof alone of the sturdy, durable nature of the Hickory Saplings they have used and continue to use. Although Old Hickory still makes their furniture the way they always have they have incorporated new techniques in to guarantee the best furniture possible. Attention to detail as well as making furniture the old fashioned way has kept Old Hickory the company it always was and continues to be. Old Hickory furniture is made in the most meticulous way by the careful matching of parts, the difficult assembly with mortise and tenon, and the hand weaving process. These processes make Old Hickory Furniture the most durable and comfortable pieces of their kind.

Every order placed on our websites are shipped either with UPS/FedEx ground, a white glove delivery service or a curbside carrier, depending on what you select at checkout.

Curbside Delivery:
Curbside Delivery will be delivered to you home, but there will only be one delivery person so the pallet or boxes will not be brought inside or assembled. We will email you with the tracking number as soon as your order ships out, and the freight carrier will contact you to set up a delivery appointment once it is in your area. We provide a liftgate at delivery at no cost to you. Generally, the drivers will also assist you in bringing your order to the first dry area of your residence. Curbside deliveries take approximately 2-5 business days to complete.

White Glove Delivery:
This is the highest level of delivery service. All of the furniture will be brought inside your home, up to 2 flights of stairs inside your home, and assembled completely. The delivery company will also remove all of the packaging materials once the assembly is complete. White glove deliveries generally take 2-3 weeks to complete.
